Mother Dianne M. Bogan, a native of Pontiac, Michigan is known throughout the Body of Christ as a servant who consistently demonstrates hospitality and God's love to others.

Mother Bogan is the daughter of the late Bishop Charles J. Johnson, Sr., who served as Prelate for the Historic Northeast Michigan Jurisdiction and Mother Lillian Keyes-Johnson, who served as Supervisor for Northeast Michigan. She is the wife of the late, Bishop Walter E. Bogan, Sr. who served as Senior Pastor of Harris Memorial COGIC in Burton, Michigan for over 25 years and prelate of Great Lakes First Jurisdiction for over five years. She is the mother of two sons, Pastor Eric C. (Karleen) and Walter II; the grandmother of three: Kolby, Blake and Luke.

As an insightful speaker, teacher and mentor; she draws heavily from her parents training along with her experience as a Pastor and Bishop's wife. She frequently hosts retreats, workshops, and other events to empower, train and develop women. Mother Bogan boldly challenges women to: 1) become blessings in the lives of their husbands and families 2) focus on their strengths instead of their weaknesses 3) become the victor and not remain the victim and 4) be productive in the home, local church and community.

Mother Bogan serves in the Church of God in Christ as the following:

  • Personal Adjutant to General Supervisor Mother Willie Mae Rivers
  • Jurisdictional Supervisor of Great Lakes First Jurisdiction of Michigan
  • Member, National Steering Committee-Women's International Convention
  • National Chairperson Executive Hospitality
  • National Adjutant Mother Liasion – Department of Women
  • Founder and President of Daughters of Destiny Ministries

Mother Bogan has been anointed by God to train, teach and mentor young women; always admonishing them to “live with purpose on purpose.” She is considered by many to be a “spiritual mother.” This facet of her mentoring ministry deeply impacts hurting women. It is evident that the Lord has placed within her the ability to speak His word so that lives will be transformed through spiritual growth which will bring forth wholeness in body, soul and spirit.

Mother Bogan continues to remind women everywhere that, “Service is not in a title, but in a towel.” A saged quote frequently used by her late husband, Bishop Walter E. Bogan, a man who exemplified servant leadership.
